Walk Ins

Our clinics appointment system allows patients with urgent, non-urgent, complex, planned chronic care and preventive health care to be accommodated.

 

Walk in patients are triaged as appropriate. Non-urgent walk in patients are accepted if there is an available appointment, or scheduled to when there is an appointment.

 

Booking a long appointment is important for more complex problems – insurance medical, health review, counselling, a second opinion, etc. Please

bring all relevant information. If more than one person from your family wishes to see the doctor at the same time, please ensure a separate appointment is made for each family member.

Please notify us if you are unable to attend an appointment, well in advance.

Billing Arrangements

We bulk bill Medicare for consults. Please bring your Medicare card to your appointment.

A small fee may be charged for special procedures.

Please be advised that some Doctors are mixed billing.

Iron Infusion

This service is provided by selected Doctors at the Practice.  An appointment must be undertaken prior to an Iron Infusion appointment to arrange appropriate pathology testing.  A fee of $150.00 is payable for an Iron Infusion procedure.

Skin Cancer Checkup

Our Medical Centres have Doctors that are able to provide skin checks and undertake minor procedures.

Test Results

Results are checked daily by the doctors. All patients are to return for results. If they need to be followed up urgently the doctor will either:

• Request a member of reception/nursing staff to call you to make an earlier appointment to come into the clinic to discuss the results  or
• Call directly to discuss them.

An appointment must be arranged if you are requesting a copy of any results.  Results cannot be emailed to patients.

National Disability Insurance Scheme

This clinic can provide assistance with completing NDIS application paperwork. Please be advised that there are fees associated with this service.

Paperwork Appointments 

Not all of the services we provide can be bulk billed.  We will advise if there are fees associated with a service prior to completing the service and paperwork.

Centrelink Certificates

A consultation fee of $70.00 applies to the completion of Centrelink certificates.

Translating and Interpreting Service

If you or a family member require an interpreter service the telephone number is 131 450. Please let us know when you make the appointment.
